Lambda Ensemble

λ-ensemble – Poznań Laptop Orchestra was brought to life during 100th anniversary of Adam Mickiewicz Universtity of Poznań.λ-ensemble as a common initiative of Electroacoustic Music Studio at Music Academy in Poznań and Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Adam Mickiewicz Universityof Poznań, was founded by Maciej Grześkowiak, Michał Janocha, Wojciech Kaszuba and Tomasz Obrębski.λ-ensemble is the first laptop orchestra in Poland, which uses contemporary coding methods and their performative usefulness, like musical live-coding. Poznań Laptop Orchestra associates students of electroacoustic composition and students of computer science.
