Andrea Uváčiková (1990) graduated on Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Ostrava, majoring in Graphics (2015). Besides artistic practice she also deals with the theoretical reflection of the medium of graphics. In 2019, she defended her dissertation at Department of Art Education, Faculty of Pedagogy, Masaryk University in Brno. During her studies she did internships at the Transdisciplinary Activities Studio and the Graphic Art Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, then at University of Silesia in Katowice. They completed residency in in Wervik, Belgium as an author duo with Zuzana Bartošová. Currently, she works as an assistant at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava (Graphic Art Studio). Her work is characterized by intermedial approaches and mainly reflects topics related to human perception and with the interpretation of reality in the age of hyperproductive society and digital technologies.
